About the Wish Kids Golf Classic

After several years of supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Vermont, agents of Co-operative Insurance Companies started the Wish Kids Golf Classic in 2001. That first tournament raised just over $2,100 for the cause.

Each year, we draw more players, sponsors and funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation®. The 2009 Classic at the beautiful Country Club of Barre generated $29,000, putting our nine-year total over $121,000.

The 2010 event will once again feature prizes for accuracy, distance and holes-in-one. The putting contest offers a chance to show off skills. There will be great items in our third silent auction, along with complimentary bagels and a barbeque dinner.
